tablet model at HIMSS 09. Along with the RT10, GammaTech will display the
semi-rugged DURABOOK D14RY, D15TS, D15RP and the fully-rugged DURABOOK R13S and
MT10 for mobile professionals.
The
fully-rugged DURABOOK RT10 reference architecture developed with feedback from
clinicians worldwide. Perfect for mobile, fast-paced healthcare environments,
the DURABOOK RT10 helps healthcare professionals on the front lines of care enhance
workflow, productivity and operational efficiency in order to help reduce
costs, improve clinical decision-making and quality of care, and increase

The
versatile military-standard mobile medical tablet works in the most adverse
conditions:

withstand a four-foot drop.

Functions
in humidity levels as high as 90 percent and as low as 10 percent.

Fully-sealed
and alcohol-resistant (80 percent or less).
·
Operates
in temperatures between 5º C and 35º C.
·
Can be stored in temperatures between -20º C and 60º C.

DURABOOK RT10 comes equipped with 4 wire resistive touch-screen capability that
can be manually enabled or disabled in seconds, anti-glare glass, and palm
rejection functionality. The RT10 MCA supports both Windows Vista® Business
Edition and Windows Vista® XP Tablet PC Edition and includes an Intel® ULV processor U2100.

DURABOOK R13S includes an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor and can withstand drops, spills,
vibrations and dust, employing magnesium top and
bottom cases to protect the devices’ LCD and vital internal components and
to provide sensational resilience within the most adverse working environments.
The thin, reliable notebook features a 13.3 inch convertible display with a
sunlight-readable option for easy interface, a speedy Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor, and internal TPM and hard drive encryption capabilities for
increased security options.

Reliability
Building
on the success of the DURABOOK line of tough notebooks that are spill-resistant,
drop resistant, and shock resistant, the D14RY, D15TS and D15RP are equipped
with Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology and adds
additional data security features including internal TPM and hard drive
encryption. The notebooks rugged features such as component insulation and
keyboard spill tray, IO port protection and shock-mounted Hard Drive in order
to protect the vital components of the system from drop, shock and spill
damage.
