GAMMATECH COMPUTER CORPORATION (HEREIN CALLED "GAMMATECH") WARRANTS THE DURABOOK MODEL NOTEBOOK COMPUTER PRODUCT TO BE FREE FROM DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP UNDER NORMAL USE AND CONDITIONS FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF THE
PRODUCT IS:
A.
Damaged through negligence, misuse, abuse, or accident.
B.
Modified or repaired by anyone other than GAMMATECH authorized service center personnel.
C.
Damaged due to connection to the equipment of other manufacturers or improper power sources.
D.
The serial number sticker on the system is missing, defaced, or modified in any manner.
THIS
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
A.
Damage to the system due to parts of other manufacturers added
to or connected to the product.
B.
Any costs incurred in shipping the product to GAMMATECH or a service
center location
C. Damage or improper operation of the
product caused by customer abuse, negligence, or failure to follow operating
instructions
provided with the product.
D. The compatibility or performance of
any third party product used with or connected to the system.
E. Components of the system that fail to meet GAMMATECH'S definition of defective, including, but not limited to, LCD
panels with less than twelve (12) defective pixels. (Battery warranted for one year. Defective battery defined as not
accepting an electrical charge.)
F. Any cosmetic damage to system caused by accident or customer abuse.
THIS WARRANTY
IS VALID ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA.
THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO
THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. GAMMATECH EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES
OF ANY KIND (OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY STATED HEREIN).
WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
Under no circumstances shall GAMMATECH be liable for any loss, direct or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this system. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. However, you may have other rights which may vary from state to state.
IMPORTANT: GammaTech recommends that you return your completed warranty registration card and a copy of your dated sales receipt in the envelope provided within seven days of purchase in order to have your unit registered for warranty purposes.[

Warranty Program Options Printer friendly ( )
Your notebook has been designed to give you years of reliable service. Plus, its modular design lends itself to customer upgrades, which means you'll be contentedly using your notebook for years to come. If your unit needs repair during the Standard Warranty period, GammaTech's goal is to turnaround the repair of your notebook in 48 hours once the unit has been received.
Some customers have asked that we provide further peace
of mind by offering program options to our Standard Warranty Program.
By choosing to purchase the optional "ExpressRed" Program, you will
be afforded free overnight shipping to and from GammaTech if your notebook
needs repair during the warranty period. By choosing to purchase an
extended warranty, you will lengthen the limited warranty to cover the
parts and labor cost associated with repair to your notebook. You must
purchase any optional warranty program coverage within 90 days of your
original system purchase. Upon purchasing a Warranty Program Option,
GammaTech will mail to you or your reseller a Limited Extended Warranty
certificate for your records.
If the unit must be returned to GammaTech for service,
please contact your dealer or GammaTech for assistance. Detailed instructions
for the return of the unit will be given to you. The customer is responsible
for the shipping charge incurred for the return of the system to GammaTech.
GammaTech will pay and match the shipping method (up to 2nd day delivery)
used by the customer for the return of the product (w/ ExpressRed
GammaTech pays overnight shipping charges in both directions). Please
see the table below for the costs of the warranty program options.[
